Throughout the week, from 26 June to 2 July, you can taste Kashubian strawberries in a variety of ways – both sweet and savoury. 17 restaurants across the Tri-City and the Pomorskie region are serving dishes and desserts during this time, with the Kaszëbskô Malëna taking centre stage. This is what summer in Pomorskie tastes like! Fancy a go?

Kaszëbskô Malëna – what is the secret behind it?

The Kashubian Strawberry is a unique regional product from Pomorskie, and is the only one in Poland to hold the EU’s Protected Geographical Indication certification. To be called a Kashubian strawberry, it must meet a number of standards, including being grown within a specific area of the Kashubian Lake District. The area’s distinctive climate and soil conditions give it an exceptionally sweet and juicy flavour.

Restaurants in the Tri-City and Pomorskie are serving the Kashubian Strawberry

This is our original promotional campaign, in which 17 Pomeranian restaurants – partners of Pomorskie Prestige – are serving the Kashubian Strawberry in unique ways for a week. We left the decision on how to serve them entirely up to the head chefs, resulting in no fewer than 21 dishes – ranging from sweet interpretations to surprising, savoury creations. This is a unique opportunity to rediscover the Kashubian Strawberry – in creative, original variations developed especially for our project.
