GLOBALTICA is a unique, family-friendly event on the summer cultural calendar, held in Gdynia since 2005. Artists from around the world will gather in the historic Kolibki Park to present music that transcends genre boundaries. The 21st edition of the festival will take place July 17–19, 2026.
The festival showcases the diversity of world cultures in a modern, accessible form. The invited artists draw on tradition and roots, giving them a contemporary sound. Globaltica is a space where the local meets the global, and tradition meets modernity – in a vibrant, relevant context.
It’s more than just a music festival. The program also includes meetings, workshops, film screenings, and artistic activities that together form a cohesive, multidimensional narrative about culture and diversity. An important element of the event is its open, relaxed atmosphere, conducive to discovery and togetherness.
For years, the festival has been held in Kolibki Park– a green space situated between the Baltic Sea and the forest, on the border of Gdynia and Sopot. This location allows visitors to combine participation in the event with relaxation close to nature. Its intimate character and seaside location make Globaltica a moment of respite from everyday life, even though it is situated in the heart of a bustling metropolitan area.
The festival is family-friendly and welcomes audiences of all ages. The program also includes activities for the youngest attendees – workshops, performances, and concerts that introduce children to the world of culture and diversity in an accessible way.
