John Dory filet in grapefruit risotto and grilled leek? Here you go. Or, maybe, smoked eel with potato espuma and crispy potatoes, with trout caviar, served on sour cream? Traditional flavours with a pinch of molecular cuisine are a combination not to be underestimated.

Original approach to ingredients has become a contemporary hallmark of the best restaurants. The head chef of Wave Restaurant in Sheraton Sopot Hotel frequently travels the world, and from his excursions he brings back many inspirations that he then uses in the kitchen. Gdańsk-based Metamorfoza, on the other hand, goes even further in its ability to smarten up traditional, Polish dishes. Every single detail has been taken care of here. Minimalist decorations, black-and-white floor, designer chairs – all this in a renovated interiors of a former palace. Another exceptional, elegant interior can be found in 1906 Gourment Restaurant in Ciekocinko Palace. A visit to the restaurant is a meeting with classics – Art Noveau furniture, stylish wallpapers, oak cupboards and chairs, exquisite drapes – all this creates a unique vibe.
