Podkówka

My name is Lucyna and I run a farm with my daughters in the village of Nowy Klincz near Koscierzyna. Well, yes women themselves, but with a little help from my brother-in-law we manage. I moved here from the Tri-City to my husband. I, an accountant, who had nothing to do with the countryside, found myself there and fell in love with this land. This farm has always been here, only the owners have changed. Here I learned everything that every farmer should know about raising animals and cultivating the land. We raise cows, goats, and we also have horses to teach young riders. Horses have been my passion since I was a child, and I'm glad I was able to fulfill this dream. The children grew and I had more time, so I opened an agritourism farm. Then goats came to the farm and they help me to start my adventure with cheeses. At first I made fresh cheeses alone, then as I grew, maturing cheeses from the milk of cows came in. As I gained confidence, I began to conduct cheese-making workshops. There are workshops for every age group, even children from a semi-colony have made their own cheese. At the workshop I teach step by step how to make cheese, which you can then make yourself at home. Meanwhile, participants taste fresh cheeses with spices and ripened cheeses. Participants can choose what kind of milk they want to work with-goat or cow's milk. At the end of the workshop there is a cake, but not just any cake, as it is made from whey. Workshops are one of the options for spending time on our farm. With the help of my daughters, we are expanding the offer to include a Farmer's Day. This offer will be available on weekends from July to August. You will be able to meet our animals: goats, horses, rabbits, taste cheese during a cheese making demonstration. Finally, you will be able to try your hand at the reel and learn about one of the crafts farmers used to do in the countryside. We will work on sheep wool. All this will be prepared for you by me, an accountant from the Tri-City area who fell in love with these Kashubian lands.

WitAnn

WitAnn is a small, local producer of artisanal cold cuts and meat preserves, prepared in the slow food style: using traditional methods, without advanced production technologies, and with respect for the environment. When creating our products, we drew inspiration from the recipes and traditions of our parents and grandparents. We added a touch of modernity: our products are smoked in an electric, low-emission smoker. They are hermetically sealed immediately after production to preserve their unique taste and aroma for a long time. Our selection of cold cuts is complemented by smoked fishes and jarred preserves, which, in addition to classic options, also include our original, unconventional products. The full range of our products is available in our online store. Taking advantage of our location in the Natura 2000 area, by the Łupawa River and surrounded by beautiful nature, we decided to combine our passion for smoking meats with open-fire cooking—outdoor cuisine. Here, you can enjoy delicious meals cooked in a cauldron or over a campfire, using our locally sourced products.
