The stadium’s designers were inspired by the natural beauty of the mineral and the centuries of Gdańsk’s amber and maritime tradition. Out of this vision, a project was born that is considered to be one of the most beautiful sports arenas in the world. The enormous amber-coloured body of the stadium towers over the city’s harbour district, to become not only its contemporary symbol, but also a unique beacon. The post-industrial district, where the stadium is located, is quickly transforming into a modern urban fabric and, together with the stadium’s surroundings, is a must-see during the tour of the city.
The Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk is a multi-functional, modern sports facility that also operates as a business and leisure centre. It is designed to host events up to 45,000 participants: football matches, concerts and other cultural and sporting events.
