Cheeses - Pomorskie Prestige

Cheeses for breakfast, with appetizers, with main courses, and with desserts. Obtained from cow’s and goat’s milk, they have a delightful taste, consistency, and aroma. The best known regional cheese is Słupski Chłopczyk (A Boy from Słupsk) – a Camembert soft cheese manufactured in Słupsk since 1925. Another traditional regional product is steamed processed cheese with caraway, manufactured from home-made cottage cheese. The pride of Pomorskie is homestead cheeses from small cheese dairies scattered over the region, e.g. from Rakowiec Homestead, producing 15 kinds of cheese, or from Kaszubska Koza (Kashubian Goat) – a family farm where cheeses are made by hand, using traditional methods.
