A new festival on the map of the Tri-City. If you love cinema and good food – book the days from April 5 to 7 and come to Gdynia.

This is a good plan for the beginning of April. An event where two worlds intersect. The romance of cinema and great food. So you will be able to taste life with all your senses. The event will take place in the urban parts of Gdynia in several locations.

It will be a unique blend of excellent cinema with a multitude of culinary experiences. You are cordially invited to the K5 Food Story festival, conceived for the love of the best flavors. – says Kamil Sadkowski, co-organizer of the festival from the K5 Culinary Academy.

The festival will begin with a preview screening of the French film “Bulion i Inne Namiętności” starring Juliette Binoche, which won the Palme d’Or at Cannes for best director. And this is just the beginning. In the next few days we will move to the world of culinary documentaries, including meeting the world’s youngest chef – Chef Flynn and understanding the unique method of producing Georgian wine. We will also look into the aromatic world of Basque cuisine. The screenings of most films will be preceded by refreshments prepared by Gdynia restaurants. Appetizingly!

There will also be accompanying attractions – for children and adults. There will be culinary workshops for the youngest, referring to the screening of the family film “Jajko czy kura?” (“Egg or Hen?)” conducted by the K5 Culinary Academy, breakfast in the spirit of the cinema at the Vinegre restaurant and an elegant movie dinner at the “White Rabbit” restaurant. What’s more, book lovers – both film and culinary – will be able to immerse themselves in a special bookstore. There will also be contests with attractive prizes.

The full festival program and ticket information are available on the K5 Culinary Academy website.
